In short: Medivoice does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. All camera processing, sign recognition, and stored data stay entirely on your device. Medivoice has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection of any kind.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Medivoice iOS app ("Medivoice", "the app"), developed by Angie Sun ("we", "us"). Medivoice is a communication aid for nonverbal, nonspeaking, and Deaf/hard-of-hearing users, offering a tap-to-speak communication board and an on-device American Sign Language (ASL) sign recognizer.

What data Medivoice accesses

What Medivoice does not do

Data storage and deletion

Any data Medivoice creates (accuracy ratings, test CSV files) is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. You can delete it at any time:

Children's privacy

Medivoice does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all. The app is suitable for caregivers to use with patients of any age in a supervised setting.

Health information

Medivoice is a communication aid, not a certified medical interpreter service and not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical or interpretation services. Any words or phrases you speak through the app are generated locally for your own communication purposes and are not recorded or reviewed by us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and post the revised policy at this same URL. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
